Hi, I’m Stanley Leon, also known as “Stan the Man,” and I’m the founder and photographer behind Stanley Leon Photography.

My passion is simple: telling meaningful stories through my lens. Over the years, that passion has shaped me into an event, portrait, and lifestyle photographer serving clients throughout the Tri-State area.

For me, photography is about more than taking a beautiful picture. It’s about capturing the moments that words can’t always describe: the genuine laughter, quiet emotions, unforgettable expressions, and details that make your story uniquely yours.

My approach is rooted in connection. I take the time to understand your vision, make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and create images that feel authentic to who you are. Whether I’m documenting a live event, creating portraits, or capturing everyday moments, my goal is to produce photographs that keep you engaged, inspired, and connected to the experience long after it’s over.

I’m a proud alumnus of the New York Film Academy, where I strengthened my ability to tell stories visually and developed an even deeper appreciation for documentary-style photography. I’ve always believed some of the strongest images happen in the moments between the poses. The candids. The reactions. The personality. The moments you didn’t realize were happening until you see them captured.

Outside of photography, you can usually find me on a basketball court, listening to music, reading, writing, or spending time with my family and church community. I’m also a musician and someone who believes deeply in continuous growth creatively, professionally, personally, and spiritually.

At the heart of everything I do is a desire to create with purpose, connect with people, and continue to aspire to inspire.
